Vision For LifeTeams
JGLM LifeTeams are small, rapidly multiplying units of believers that are systematically trained and working as a team according to a specific training program with the purpose of reaching their city for Christ. The teams follow a systematic course of study and application that coincides with the JGLM Dominion Bible Institute (DBI). The leader of the team has the responsibility of training, equipping, and preparing the members of the team to do the works of Christ. The training of members takes place through teaching, study, role-playing, and developing within each member a lifestyle of doing the great commission. To find out more about LifeTeams CLICK HERE

Join The Team
Horses run in herds, wolves run in packs, and men run in tribes. You were created to be part of a team, a LifeTeam. The Bible is clear that one can put 1000 to flight, but two together can put 10,000 on the run. One may be overpowered but two together can stand, and a 3-fold cord is not easily broken. By being on a team, you benefit not only yourself but the entire team as every member does their part. The church is meant to be a team working together to capture the city for Christ. As part of the team you have responsibility, accountability, and a team to help you overcome and accomplish Christ’s purpose on the earth.

Taking Responsibility
The gospel puts a godly responsibility on believers. It is our responsibility to reach the lost, to heal the sick, to preach the gospel. We are our brothers keeper. Committing to a LifeTeam is committing to the responsibility of the great commission. The focus of a LifeTeam is to reach their area with the power of the gospel. This can only be accomplished as we rise to the level of responsibility that the gospel has called us to.
Like Minded Believers
The best environment to grow spiritually is to have fellowship with like-minded believers. There is nothing more precious than spending time with those who have obtained like precious faith. When Peter and John were set free from prison, they were released to their own company (acts 4). You need to have your own company of believers. People that believe the way you do, that study what you are studying, that will encourage you and push you forward in your goal of walking even as He walked. The alternative is to be unequally yolked with unbelievers, and more likely that not, they will talk you out of your purpose and potential in Christ.
Put The Mission First
We are called to love God with all of our being, and we demonstrate our love for God by serving our fellow man. We have been given a mission, and that mission is to have the first place in our lives. In a LifeTeam you will join with a team that has committed to putting the mission first. As an individual you must make the decision to put the mission first, you will learn to recognize distractions for what they are, and develop perseverance so that you will never back off of the mission.
House To House
The early church met in houses and they turned the world upside down. Disciples are not made on Sunday mornings, but by living out the life of Christ together as His body. The home is the best place to grow. Families, marriages, and children all grow best in homes. Why not disciples also? LifeTeam meetings can take place anywhere from coffee shops, to churches, or street corners. However the home is the ideal environment for others to grow. The home is safe, comfortable, and inviting to minds who wouldn’t consider attending a church service. You can practice in a home without fear of failing so that when you get out on the street you can confidently minister the life and power of the gospel to the community. You may not be able to start a church (the way its portrayed) but you can start being the church in your home.
Doers Of The Word
Become a doer of the Word. You don’t have “head knowledge that needs to become heart knowledge”. Once you know the will of God by His written Word the only question left is “will you be obedient to it?”. The Word of God is in your heart, your mind is being renewed and now you need to get your body to do the action. If you want to become the Word made flesh, then you must train your flesh to do the Word as Jesus did. When you do this, you will have gained experience, and you will grow as you go. This life that we have been given is more than a Sunday service, this is more than a confession, more than a prayer. It is an opportunity to live the life that was taken from Jesus. What are you doing with it?
Make A Disciple
God desires you to be fruitful, and that your fruit would remain. Every believer should be a disciple as well as be training another in discipleship. A LifeTeam is a place where you can be equipped by leaders to become leaders. God doesn’t expect you to sit and listen to teaching for the rest of your life, He wants you to be a doer of the Word and be able to teach His Word to others. He wants you to be teaching your brothers and sisters how to walk worthy of the calling, and a LifeTeam is a great place to start doing that.
DL Movement
The Dominion Life Movement is the sum total of all activities JGLM. The purpose of the Dominion Life Movement is to bring the total Gospel to every creature throughout the earth. The Dominion Life Movement is being propagated through every possible means of communication and training. It’s not just a name, it is living the Gospel of Jesus Christ through every situation, overcoming every obstacle, achieving victory in every trial, thereby bringing glory to God through an overcoming victorious faith that exemplifies the dominion God originally commanded man to walk in.
